On February 15, a visit of the children of the martyrs was organized to the newly opened STEAM Innovation Center. More than 80 children of martyrs participated in the visit. It should be noted that the children of martyrs are the first visitors of the center. The visit was organized with the support of "Zafar" Martyrs' Families Support Public Union.
According to the information given to our newspaper by Tarana Ibrahimli, head of the Innovative Education Department of the STEAM Innovation Center, at first, all children, regardless of their age, watched a science show with entertaining and educational content based on a program prepared in advance by experts at the center.
Later, the children of the martyrs were divided into 5 groups and information sheets were distributed to the group leaders. Primary school students were introduced to "Bumble bee" and "Simple programming" sites. Children from 10 to 18 years old can visit the workshop of ideas, the flight simulator "In the air with numbers", as well as the rooms "Science on the sphere", "Illusions and physical exhibits", "Virtual reality", "Energy", "Aviation", "Newton". they did.
In these rooms, students listened to lectures, studied the process of engineering, design, and programming, and were closely acquainted with various exhibits and equipment. The main goal of organizing a visit to the STEAM Innovation Center was to show students that science is not difficult, but rather interesting and fun. During the visit, STEAM Innovation Center employees answered the students' questions and engaged them in active activities. At the end, a commemorative photo was taken with the children.
